Meet our Provider of the Month, Ally Jackson, DC. We caught up with her to learn her favorite part of her job, what her hidden skill is, and what difference she would make in the world!

Call (800) 404-6050 for more information.

Where is your practice?

Richmond, VA.

Where are you originally from?

Hickory, NC. It’s pronounced Hick-ree if you’re a local.

How long have you been with Airrosti?

11 years and some change.

Describe your favorite thing about your job.

I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I’ve encountered a lot of patients along the way.  My favorite thing about being an ACP is getting to know my patients through their stories and getting to be part of that story in a small way. Understanding their why helps drive the treatment and road to recovery.

Best food recommendation near your practice’s location.

Mekong. They have amazing Vietnamese.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Marine Biologist, like every other millennial.

Name three things you love to do in your spare time.

I am a mom of three boys, so I don’t really have spare time!

What’s the oddest injury you’ve had and how did it happen?

Frozen elbow. I’ve only ever seen it once in my career and there was no specific mechanism of injury, just an insidious loss of range of motion.

If you could be in any movie, what would it be and why?

James Bond! I’ve always wanted to be a Bond girl. And yes, I would do my own stunts. I have a huge network of people capable of fixing my pain if it goes wrong.

What’s a hidden skill or a fact that no one would guess about you?

I will crush you in Pac-Man. My gaming skills do not go beyond 80’s arcade games, though.

What’s your favorite sport?

Surfing, to participate in, and college basketball to watch.

If you could make a difference in the world, what would you be known for?

Coming up with a solution to climate change and reducing our negative impact as humans on this planet.

If you could have any superpower, which would you choose and why?

Time travel. It would be amazing to pick a point in time and be present for major past or future events.
