Weekend movie nights with my son Louis. Baseball games (Go Cubs Go) Early morning Lake walks. Dancing to any type of music and karaoke nights with my best friends.
I used to train for marathons a few years ago. I ran the Chicago half and a few other races. After a knee injury, I gave up on running and Joined Crossfit in 2012. I have participated in partner competitions Scaled and RX.
I met Dr. Canelo during our 4 weeks of training at Airrosti. While training with her I could tell from the start she was going to be great. During the last week of training I noticed I had quite a bit of tightness in my right side of my neck along with a bit of pain in the front part of my shoulder from previously changing an angle on dips. Without hesitation, I asked her to take a look at it. I wanted to get the pain / stiffness I was feeling gone quickly. Honestly, that's exactly what she did. Within the two treatments she did (one for each area), she was able to tell me that it was actually the insertion area of my bicep that I was feeling. Not only did she inform me that it was not in fact my shoulder, she was able to alleviate both pain areas before I was to return home that week. I cannot thank her enough for helping me. She is not only thorough, but walks you through every part of the process. I would easily see her again, even if that meant driving from Houston. Trust me when I say you're in good hands letting her help you.
