    I was the first in my family to graduate from college. My dad’s family is from El Salvador and they migrated to the US in the 1980’s, and never went back. I had the opportunity to do a chiropractic mission trip and was able to explore my roots. I also did a mission trip to Cusco, Peru for an entire summer before attending Chiropractic school. All throughout college, I was determined to go to medical school. The week of my graduation I changed my plans to attend Chiropractic school, all because my mother couldn’t drive to her chiropractic appointment.
