Join Airrosti’s Anthony Pavlich, PT, DPT, as he discusses the different causes of hip pain and common signs of hip conditions like hip bursitis, IT band syndrome, and hip impingement. Learn more about traditional hip pain treatment methods and how Airrosti can help relieve hip pain in as few as three visits (based on patient-reported outcomes).
Hip pain and stiffness is a common condition treated at Airrosti. The hip is one of the largest joints in the body. To function correctly and with full range of motion, the ligaments, muscles, and fascia surrounding the joint must be working in unison. To know how to best treat hip pain, you should understand how it occurs, what symptoms to look out for, and what kind of treatment may be best for you.
The hip joint is designed to withstand repeated motion and a fair amount of wear and tear. This ball-and-socket joint allows for fluid lower body movements. While many causes of hip pain can arise from the joint itself, there are numerous structures surrounding the hip that can also be the source of pain.
Untreated acute trauma is often the cause of hip pain, but any source of inflammation may cause discomfort in the hip area. Pain is one of the symptoms of inflammation, along with swelling, warmth, and redness; together these are signals and symptoms that a problem may exist.
Aside from an acute injury, some other causes include overuse injuries in which muscles, tendons, and ligaments can become inflamed. Overuse of the hip can also wear away the cartilage in the hip joint, causing arthritis. Common hip problems caused by strain and overuse include hip tendonitis/tendinitis, hip bursitis, and hip flexor strain.
You may also experience referred pain from other structures outside the hip joint. This means that, while the hip hurts, the problem may originate elsewhere, such as Snapping Hip Syndrome being actually being caused by the iliotibial band.
Depending on the condition that’s causing your hip pain, you may feel discomfort in various parts of your body, including:
Signs of an inflammatory condition like tendonitis or bursitis often include:
The treatment of pain or discomfort depends on the cause. If hip pain is associated with activities like power walking or running, resting from that activity, or switching to lower impact activities may be helpful. Implementing activities like yoga can help, as it often includes stretches for hips that can improve mobility and reduce pain by stretching the soft tissues around the area.
Through simple preventative stretches and exercises, you can avoid many of the problems commonly associated with hip and hip flexor injuries, as well as joint pain from referred injuries throughout the body. If your hip pain is a result of overuse, your doctor will likely recommend rest, anti-inflammatory medications, or physical therapy. You should always consult with your doctor about what treatment options are best for you.
Hip pain is a nonspecific complaint that requires a musculoskeletal professional, like an Airrosti Provider, to find the underlying cause of all the many potential conditions or injuries.
While general hip pain often responds well to home remedies and rest, Airrosti can help rapidly resolve the source of pain in an average of 3 visits (based on patient-reported outcomes) — keeping you moving and getting you back to the sports or activities you love most and avoid chronic, long term pain.

I met Dr. Gibson at a fitness convention at the Airrosti booth. I spoke with her about my hip and knee issues (that have come and gone since high school), along with my "not so good" first experience with another Airrosti Provider. I'm a personal trainer and gym owner, so I showed her some videos of some of the corrective exercises I was doing. She was impressed and assured me she could help me, so I set up an appointment. She fixed me in one session like it was nothing! Her attention to detail, knowledge, and ability to listen with intention are what separates her from any other Airrosti Provider, Chiropractor, massage therapist, physical therapist, or other bodyworker! She's the best, hands down, and I cannot recommend her enough!

I came to see Robert almost two months ago with a hip and left oblique pain that did not allow me to run. Even my daily activities, like driving, walking, and movement in general were compromised. After the first three appointments, I felt way better, my pain was decreasing, and my confidence was increasing about running again. Last weekend, I was able to run ten miles without pain, and I felt great the day after. I got way more conscious about stretching, rolling, and listening to my body. I’m so grateful someone recommended me to Dr. Espinoza. I hurt my hip while running, and he fixed me quickly! Then, I injured my lower back lifting, and again, he fixed me fast. I’ve recommended Dr. Espinoza to several friends and family members, and he has fixed every single one — he is such an amazing doctor.

I had endured two years of back pain, countless doctor visits, and injections with no improvement. By chance, I had a visit with Dr. Johnson as my regular provider was on maternity leave. Dr. Johnson had me undergo imaging tests and see a hip specialist because she suspected the issue was not my back but my hip. She was right on the money. It was osteoarthritis in my hip, and she was the only one who recognized it. I can't explain how grateful I am for her and to finally know what the issue is so it can be addressed properly. Dr. Johnson was very caring, encouraging, and thorough. I will forever be thankful to her. This has been an incredible journey to recovery. I went to Airrosti with minimal understanding of the injury I was dealing with in my hip. Dr. Garza managed to pinpoint what I was dealing with and healed my injury with incredible exercises and strategy. What was a one-year injury turned into a healed injury within one month of working with Dr. Garza. I have never felt more confident than I do now about my injury recovery and the understanding of it, thanks to Dr. Garza. I extremely recommend anyone give Dr. Garza a visit if you are dealing with any injury. 10/10.

I was experiencing hip issues that felt like a painful horseshoe on the right hip bone. I felt it when I walked. I have had multiple knee surgeries and felt quite guarded before seeing her. On my first of four visits, I felt safe and knew immediately she cared about my pain and knew what to do. Her touch and professional expertise allowed my guard to relax, and my breathing resumed skillfully while she released stuck triggers in my body. I went in for what I thought was a groin issue or pull, and after my first visit with Dr. Moore, we discovered it was my hip and not my groin. She referred me for x-rays to confirm that I had arthritis, but no hip replacement was needed. After six visits, my pain is minimal now, and I have more movement in my leg. I credit this to the exercises Dr. Moore did on my leg. She was a pleasure to work with and took the time to listen and explain everything. She did a great job, and I am truly grateful and am in a better place now with my hip. Thank you, Dr. Moore.

I had surgery to repair a labral tear in my left hip and consequently had to use my right leg for support for weeks. The source of my pain wasn't addressed during post-op physical therapy, so I decided to make an Airrosti appointment. I have used Airrosti before for lower back pain and was hopeful for positive results with this issue. Dr. Garza was very professional, and personable/easy to talk to, especially during the sometimes painful treatment process. My team was lucky enough to have Dr. Scott attend the USA Weightlifting National Championships Week with us, and I'm so grateful for that! Having recently found out that I have a torn labrum in my hip, Dr. Scott was able to work away all pain and tightness post-travel and training to make sure I was in tip-top shape before competing! On top of that, in the middle of competing, my elbow started to feel a little tender, and after just a few minutes of Dr. Scott working on it, it was feeling great again, and I was able to continue competing. I'm so thankful the Airrosti team was able to send one of their best to help all of us put up such strong performances!

I was at USA Weightlifting Junior Nationals this past week, and I had never gotten any work done on my body before. It started with an assessment of my squat, and Dr. Scott was able to work on the tissue in my hips, glutes, as well as my traps/shoulders. I noticed a huge difference in my comfort at the bottom of my squat, the speed at which I was able to get out of the hole on my clean, and was able to better set my shoulders for the snatch and clean and jerk. As a weightlifter, one of the main things we have to do to have a good lift is brace; I didn’t know that I had little knowledge of how to actually brace before I met with Dr. Scott. I had been experiencing extreme pain in my hips for about a year, when sitting, which made it hard to drive my bus route. So, I contacted Airrosti and Dr. Tom Danisiewicz prescribed some stretches and exercises that alleviated the pain, and I lost a couple pounds! I highly recommend their services.

I like to push myself and thought I had done too much on the treadmill. Turns out I had some arthritis in my left hip. Dr. Danisiewicz gave me some hip-strengthening exercises to do, and they worked wonders! I did them faithfully every morning when I woke up, and they helped so much! My telehealth visits were perfect, because I still work, and could have my appointment when I got home. I am extremely happy with the outcome, and it was worth the effort I put in!

I came in with a hip impingement that was affecting my comfort in everyday activities, limiting my range of motion, and flaring up during workouts. Dr. Garza diagnosed the issue then explained how all the other muscles were affecting it and detailed the plan on how to get back to normal. After one visit, I was already feeling better. Throughout treatment, I asked lots of questions and always got quick and helpful responses. I am about a week out from my last appointment and am feeling great.

Dr. Moore is great at listening and identifying why you’re in pain. She is excellent at getting you out of pain. Due to inactivity on my part because of a chronic illness my hip and glute had gotten so twisted that I could not stand or walk for more than 10 minutes before my leg felt like it would collapse. Three visits and I’m able to walk for about 45 and am getting better day by day.

Dr. Tran is one of the most thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated doctors I have experienced in my years with multiple injuries from sports and just the physical tolls of daily life. I came to Airrosti with hip pain that wouldn't go away over a span of 4-6 months. At first, I thought it was some inflammation or impingement that would go away, but it didn't. I was certain I had damage in the joint that may require surgery to continue doing what I love, CrossFit, pain-free. I was recommended by another happy customer, Amber Dach, who had a shoulder issue that Dr. D helped as well. Amber had a quick recovery as well and insisted I try Airrosti. Once I met Dr. D, I hit all the exercises as he prescribed and within a matter of 4-5 weeks my pain is completely gone. My hips have been hurting for a while, despite physical therapy. When I started the tele visits with Denyse, I was skeptical, but in the first visit she showed an enormous amount of knowledge, was reassuring, and very communicative. She insisted that if I did my exercises as prescribed, I would be good to go in no time. I did the exercises as often as I could and stuck to the treatment plan and I can say it helped a lot! I've been working out regularly and playing softball again and no hip pain! Definitely worth it.

I’m an avid runner, and over the past year my left hip — specifically my upper hamstring — was tight and bothered me when I’d go for a run. It wasn’t debilitating, but it was uncomfortable and something was definitely wrong. Over the past two years during Covid I worked from home and my home office setup wasn’t ergonomic, which ultimately resulted in the recurring hip pain I was experiencing. It was frustrating, and despite rest and some stretching, nothing was easing the pain. I am 72 and pretty healthy. I recently began having pain in my hip and down my leg to the point I could hardly walk. After I had an MRI it showed I had some back issues. My physician, Dr. Richards, referred me to Airrosti for treatment where I met Dr. Ullrich. What a blessing. After six treatments my back pain is so much less and manageable with the exercises he gave me with very little OTC pain medication. I was treated with respect and felt Dr. Ullrich was truly vested in making me better. I strongly recommend him if you're in need of treatment.

I had pain in my hip that got progressively worse and started to radiate down the front of my thigh. Like all of us, I was doing a lot of sitting at home during the start of the pandemic. I started to feel discomfort then it turned into pain, so bad that I could barely sit. I tried my best to find stretches online, I got multiple massages… Then my massage therapist recommended the Airrosti therapy. Dr. Bodziony identified immediately what my issues were, poor posture, weakness in my hips and legs and back, just by asking questions and watching me sit. I went way too long before pulling the trigger and that’s the only thing that I regret!! Even through exclusively Tele Visits, Tom was able to correctly identify what was causing me to have back and hip pain while sitting and standing for long periods of time. Over the span of just a few months, Tom provided me with exercises that immediately started to decrease my pain and increase the amount of time I was able to do the activities I enjoy! The exercises were very user-friendly and had difficulty-level options to be inclusive of any amount of pain one is feeling. The Airrosti program greatly improved the chronic pain I've had for a long period of my life and I would recommend to all my friends and family to try their exercises!

My hip was in pain where I could not run like normal for exercise nor walk long distances. Dr. Matthys Airrosti and the team helped me to relieve super tight pressure points. Now, I had to do the work they assigned with home physical Therapy moves to achieve maximum results. I could see it was really working so we moved on to other areas like hamstrings, upper back, etc. Not only can I run again, but I also have more flexibility and strength to move more freely for daily living activities. I am so happy with Airrosti. I heard of them through work and I'm so glad to go. I've had pain in the right hip on and off for years. The pain started traveling and it got to the point where I couldn't sleep. Dr. Wu worked really hard at getting the kinks out and it gave me relief and mobility. I’ve been dealing with a hip injury for the past three years. Sleepless nights and limited activities due to pain were my everyday experience. Over the years I visited two orthopedic doctors and received a steroid injection with no results. Dr. Amy Nguyen was extremely knowledgeable. I've had an ongoing issue with my piriformis for 18+ months now, which has caused a dull pain most of the time (accentuated when driving/sitting in an airline seat/sitting at my desk for long periods of time). I've tried lots of stretching and various medication to find a solution, without success. I've had five sessions with Dr. Morgan and have noticed a significant improvement. I have now come back to Airrosti for treatment for 3 different injuries. Each time I am treated with extreme care as Dr. Hilton talked me through my injury and how we can work together to heal it. Every time I leave the office I feel better and have hope that the injury will come to an end. He's healed my back, my ankle, and now my hip. I'm a very active person, so being out for an injury is the last thing I want to do. I had been contemplating having my hip replaced, but felt I was too young and wanted an alternative option. Our school district offered Airrosti through our insurance, so I decided to attend a group zoom explaining what the program entailed. While on the zoom, I made sure the doctor knew my hip joint was bone on bone before deciding to move forward with the program. After the zoom, I was contacted by Dr. Anthony Pavlich about two days later. From the moment we were in contact, Dr. Pavlich showed a sense of understanding and knowledge of how to help the pain in my hip. I was assigned several stretching exercises and asked to complete them daily. Within a week, the pain in my hip went from about a 9 to about a 4.5. After our second zoom, D...+ show morer. Pavlich tweaked my stretching program to accommodate what we both felt was working and what needed to be changed. The weeks I have time to rest and stretch, my hip stays below a 5 pain threshold and there were a couple of days I was pain-free. I did have a setback when I had to work a track meet and took over 20,000 steps in one day. The pain did shoot back up to a 10, but I was diligent with the stretching routine and the pain went back down to about a 3-4. On our second to last zoom meeting, Dr. Pavlich added some strength training which I feel is going to help stabilize and strengthen the muscle around the joint. Dr. Pavlich made sure I was good with what we were doing and what we had accomplished before stopping the zoom calls. My success and anyone else's success depend on me. Dr. Pavlich gave me the tools to help prolong the hip surgery I was contemplating. I am no longer taking Motrin for the pain and do a little extra stretching when the hip pain rises above a 5. Dr. Pavlich left the line open for me and said to reach out to him if things weren't staying on course. I feel good about the program and feel with the prescribed exercises and a little weight loss, surgery can be prolonged for quite a while...

Meeting Dr. Amy was serendipity for me. Having several musculoskeletal issues and particularly right shoulder and left hip pain. I am an active person and I am a retired Physical Therapist. Dr. Amy finally gave me what I was missing in the help I had sought spanning 4 years. She sees the body as a whole and that pain is related to movement patterns. I could not walk from a sports injury in my right hip. I was limping. I had no former injury in the right hip and caused wear and tear to it from working out. I could not walk and Dr. Unger & Alex at the Tuscan Lakes location got me back to my normal self. I have to ease into my normal workouts again, but without them, I would be in bad shape. The first hip doctor I went to told me the damage was permanent and I couldn’t ever run again - they said that my hip was shallow and that my ball & socket didn’t meet up correctly. It turned out to be damage to my right hip from working out (not a shallow hip). The shot did not help from my second hip appointment, but Airrosti did. Dr. Unger & Alex gave me the tools to utilize at home to know my body better and to know exactly how to warm up and what to do post-workout. They gave me the tools to be normal again & how to get back to my old self before the injury. I am so entirely grateful for that. I was in great pain before then & months of physical therapy and doctor's appointments did nothing for me but Airrosti did. Thank you to Dr. Unger & Alex for fixing me!

The constant pain in my hip/buttocks area was getting to be more than I could handle. The telehealth visits were great, but I truly enjoyed the box that came with implements I could use at home. I believe I will not encounter that sort of pain again now that I know how to exercise appropriately, but rest assured I will return to Dr. Hamblen if a different problem arises. I fully recommend AIRROSTI and especially Dr. Hamblen and Lauren.

My wife and I were on a 10-day trip to Texas to see our new grandchild and our two older grandchildren and families. Two days into the trip I experienced extreme pain in hip and back that debilitated me and left me immobile. Through a friend of my daughter we were referred to Dr. Paul Unger. He saw us within 24 hours and treatment me until I left Texas. The doctor and his staff are phenomenal!! Even checks in with me to see how I am doing. Would recommend Dr. Unger to everyone!! Thank you for helping me.

My PCP referred me to Airrosti because I've had a pinching pain in my pelvis. He suspected it was a deep tissue muscle injury and Airrosti was the best treatment plan for this type of pain. After my first visit with Dr. Miranda Garcia, I received a follow up call and a thank you note from her. I shared that with my husband and said to him, "Now that's how you build a practice and that's customer service." So I will say this... I was very impressed. After my second treatment, I felt a bit better, but I also know that these types of injuries can take months to heal. As I had dealt with this terrible pain in my pelvis for months already I was willing to continue the treatment for some relief. Of course I did all the daily rehab exercises an...+ show mored followed Dr. Garcia's recommendations, so that helped too. Today was my third treatment and I cried like a baby on the table. I cried because we were finally able to get into the inflamed area that was causing pain, but I cried mostly because Dr. Garcia gave me hope. Today I finally had hope we could heal this injury together. It takes a team to win games and this Airrosti team is helping me win my "game" of a healthy and active life. Thank you

I have been dealing with hip and back pain for a year off and on. I would get better and would have a set back. Even horseback riding for 30 minutes could set me back to square one. Walking for more than a few minutes was excruciating and I used a cane. I was 90% better after my second visit and was able to walk without limit without my cane. Dr. Meyers and Katie gave me a plan to build my activity and I'm happy to say I rode 3 hours straight yesterday with no pain today. So glad I found them! Life is great again!!

What a team Cortney and Liz make!!! I am extremely pleased with the results I saw and this was all only in 3 weeks! I am an active runner and began experiencing pain in my left hip. For 5 weeks I dealt with it before finally going to Airrosti for the very first time. Believe it or not, I ran pain free the afternoon of my appointment!!!!! Cortney was able to identify the issue right away and address it with some very deep (sometimes painful) stress right where the pain was. Then Liz was able to help me with some great exercises and therapy that I can do at home daily to prevent this reoccurring. I was discharged in 3 weeks and am still not experiencing pain-and the best news is I am running my full mileage again! My only regret is I didn...+ show moret come to them when I first started feeling the pain! I can’t say enough for Cortney Kante and Liz Burgin, they have helped me get back to where I need to be, they are the best!!!!

My recent Airrosti care was a life-changing experience for me. I had a very fast labor with my second baby that ended up spraining my SI joint and my pelvis. I couldn’t walk for about six weeks, and I used a wheelchair and walker for most of that time. The pain was so severe that I couldn’t even lay down in bed because it hurt too badly to be on my back. When I found Dr. Brooke Halboth, who is experienced in prenatal and postpartum work, I was hopeful. After just the first session, I managed to sleep in my bed again for the first time in almost two months. After a few sessions, I could get on the floor to play with my baby without being afraid of how painful it would be to get up. After my fifth and final session, I had no more pain....+ show more It not only helped me feel more confident in getting my life back to normal, but also allowed me to enjoy my time with my new baby - with no more pain. I’m forever grateful to Dr. Brooke and her team!

Dr. King is the best!! Karley has worked with my daughter, my wife, and me through various issues. She has helped manage and eliminate pain while keeping us on the field / active in our lives. She understands not only elite level athlete issues (having been a D1 athlete herself), but also the way to manage middle age weekend warriors and aging bodies. She has helped us with hip pain, quad strains, hamstring issues, strained calves, plantars facciitis. Its always better after 1 visit and all done by the 3rd. You have to do your homework, usually stretching and strengthening but its all good after that! Can't say enough good things!!

I am not one to write testimonials, but I do find them helpful from others. However, I choose to write a testimonial because of the absolutely amazing service & results that I received from Marcus Johnson & his amazing staff. I have been struggling, tolerating & looking for solutions to my hip area pain for over a year & a half. I have gone to Massage Therapists, Acupuncture and Chiropractors & while I might have experienced some limited improvement it was always short lived and the pain would return to the same thresholds. What was frustrating was that none provided a any permanent improvement, let alone a solution, but they were actively encourage me to continuing to treatment knowing full well they likely did not have a way to fix it....+ show more I was at a point where I thought my only solution was surgery, which I wanted to avoid if I could. Fortunately, two friends recommended Airrosti,so I did some research & found Marcus Johnson's business. After 4 sessions I experienced a dramatic reduction in my pain which I was thrilled about. The service that I got from he & his team was great and I was thrilled to see a truly noteworthy reduction in my pain over the long run. However, what makes Marcus such an outstanding Dr is his advocacy of the patient. Let me explain. Marcus was very forthright that he did not just want to fix the symptoms but rather fix the root cause. While I was delighted with the substantial reduction in pain, he was not satisfied with the progress & encouraged me to get an MRI so I did. When I got my MRI results, Marcus was willing to review my MRI with me & explain to me what it meant & also to help me think through what to do next. What I learned is that I had issues that were not going to be fixed from these solutions. It was because of Marcus's approach to doing what is best for the customer that I now know what is causing the issue & can address the root cause. It is rare for a Dr. to acknowledge limitations to their field of practice and ultimately do what is in the best interest of the patient and to take time out of their busy schedule & consult with you on what to do next, knowing they will likely not get any more business from that patient. That is the ultimate experience in Dr. / patient care. I had great results & continue to experience substantially less pain after a few months & now know I need to get surgery to fix my issue.

After suffering with hip pain that radiated through my leg anytime I sat for more than about 30 minutes and pretty much every time I went running, and after trying chiropractic and massage therapy visits, Dr. Balza was the one who said, "I think it's not your hip or leg, it's your back." Within a couple of weeks, between Dr. Balza and Kristie, they had me back to my old self and I've not had the problem again. It's been two years and I'm still in great shape. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Daly & Crystal are great to work with! Professional, compassionate and both have a great desire to help you reach your full capacity for recovery! Everything is explained and done in a timely way. The whole system of check in, appointments, care, communication is efficient and complete. I highly recommend this technique. It’s my first time trying Airrosti after seeing other chiropractors and this has helped me to fully regain my strength and meet my goals for recovery in my hip, back and knee.

I haven't been able to walk without limping due to hip pain for the last nine years! I didn't go out often, due to the anxiety of how far I would have to walk, or how long I could stand without being in terrible pain! I struggled to just do housework. Dr. Browning helped me with multiple issues! Sciatica & hip pain (5 visits), also shoulder, upper back pain and arm pain (5 visits). He's very professional and courteous, personable and puts you at ease to ask questions. I haven't felt this alive and well in 9 years! Thank you Dr. Browning & Airrosti. You are the best!

When I first visited Dr. Phelps I could not bend over my toes or twist. My hips were completely twisted, glutes not firing and very very weak core muscles. I won't even mention what this was doing to my digestive system. I am now on a rapid road to recovery. Dr. Phelps is professional and easy to understand. Plus he is very patient with his patients. Highly recommend!

I was having severe back and hip pain. I could ride 50 miles, but couldn't walk 10 feet without excruciating pain. I went to Illinois Bone and Joint for a look and after Xrays and MRI, they could not understand why I was in such pain. I truly did not know what to do and being an active person, this was not good. I was in pain all the time. My daughter recommended Airrosti to me after she worked with someone in Houston on her shoulder. At this point, I was willing to try anything and Dr. Medlock had a good rating and he is close to my home. It was a quick fix and it was quite painful under the pressure of the messaging. 4 visits over a 3 week time period and my new 2X daily exercise program, I am pain free. I can walk for miles, back in t...+ show morehe gym. Totally recommend this!

I have used Airrosti several times over the last few years for neck/shoulder/hip issues. The most recent was my hip- I had pain and was favoring one leg over the other due to the pain in my right hip. Dr. Stan figured it out my issue in 2 visits and I have been good to go ever since. What I like about Airrosti is they figure out your issue quickly and if they cannot fix it they will tell you. But if they can fix it, they fix it really fast- this was a record in 2 visits. My first time I went to Airrosti was for my neck and I had been going to another chiropractor for a year which ended up making my issue worse instead of better. I saw Dr. Cato and he literally fixed my issue in 4 visits. I almost cried as I was so happy to finally be out...+ show more of pain and in FOUR Visits after going for a year up to 3x a week and spending so much money on the issue.

Thanks to Dr. Vick and her team at Airrosti, they fixed my lumbar and hip pain fast -- just like they advertise. And because my insurance covered the treatments, I got pain relief in four visits for $200 in lieu of regular PT which would have been 12 visits for $600. I have been recommending Airrosti to everyone I know with back pain!

Before seeing Brittani, I had a world of issues with my hips, hamstrings, and lower back. I never got to the root cause of it until seeing her, and in a matter of days, my body was feeling 10x better. She has not only helped alleviate any pain and muscle weakness but made me faster and stronger in everything I do. Hands down the best at what she does and I would not be where I am without the work she has done.

I had been suffering from back and hip pain for over 6 months. I had been to two spine specialists, a hip specialist and even had 3 injections in my lower back. Nothing worked. I went to the Airrosti office in Southlake Tx and Kristina Myles and Megan Leonard eliminated my pain in just a few visits. Most amazing.

Dr. Hall knew right away that there was a problem with my hip. She sent me to X-ray and to Dr. Anderson. I had a procedure and started walking normally without pain or medication for three weeks. Thank you.

I saw Dr. McCutchen for soft tissue complications after two hip replacements. I essentially couldn't move and felt "locked up" after the slightest exertion as all the muscles in my back and legs would severely tighten. In 6 highly productive sessions, she systematically diagnosed the issues and attacked them one by one. I saw remarkable improvements after each session. Before, I could barely walk a mile for exercise. Today, I am walking 4-7 miles daily and have fully resumed normal activities. I really felt my recovery from the hip replacements was not complete until after I saw Dr. McCutchen. I finally feel like myself again.

My situation is somewhat unique and my case has taken a bit longer to rectify. I had a torn labrium and gluteous median in my right hip repaired in Feb 2018. Once I was cleared to walk (6 wks post op) I started seeing Dr. Hall. My first visit I went in on 2 crutches and left walking mostly on my own with the crutches for balance only. After each visit, I come out strong than when I went in! She made what seemed super hard incredibly easy. She explains and breaks down everything so you never leave questioning your treatment or home care. She listens and is truly caring when it comes to her patients. I recommend her 1000%!

Dr. Seth Meyers treated me for hip pain that I had been experiencing for a month or longer. I had four sessions with Dr. Myers and after each session, I had noticeable improvement in pain and ability to do today activities my job requires. If there for a visit to see if him I was completely pain-free and back to normal. Dr. Meyers is extremely professional and I highly recommend him to any friends or family.

I came into Dr. Grosch, complaining of hip pain that was bothering me night and day. She listened carefully to me, paid close attention to movements, had meticulous care, a solid plan, excellent exercises, and excellent understanding of the injury. After three visits, I felt so much better and have been back to my hard training runs! I would highly recommend anyone to Dr. Grosch's care!

I've been to several chiropractors for a discomfort/pain in my low back, hip and sciatica down both legs for 10 or more years. Also, I've had an achy left thumb for 5 years. Dr. Atala with the fascia release method has got me 95% better in 3 months versus 10 years. The other chiropractors could only give me relief to a certain point and the problems would always gradually come back. You need to do the stretching and strengthening for this to stay with you. If I miss a couple of days, I can work myself out of the discomfort and have it stay away much longer that the traditional chiropractor method. I really like the physical therapy with this treatment as well--much more helpful than the traditional rehab at the hospital I went to and BIG...+ show more cost savings. Good health to all that read this.

Dr. Brooke is the BEST! Smart, personable, inspiring, skilled, and she got me results!!! At the age of almost 60 y/o, I suffered for months with pain in R hip, groin and hamstrings (traditional chiro didn't help)! She worked her magic with her skilled hands and brilliant A.I.R.R.O.S.T.I. technique and I am good to go! Back to great stamina and walking 3 miles/day and with UNinterrupted sleep at night! Thank you Dr. Brooke! With home exercises I expect 100% recovery. I highly recommend her to my friends suffering with chronic pain from injuries or otherwise!

Dr. Vick is so passionate and caring about her patients and she helped me so much as I had been having problems with my hip. I had gone to many doctors and they never found a solution. So I’m happy I found her because things have changed for the better!

Surgery in May had be on bedrest for three weeks. Following that my hip (not part of the surgery at all) started to hurt. Within a few days I couldn't climb stairs. My Primary Care doctor did an X-Ray and found a bit of arthritis but agreed that it wouldn't cause the pain and debilitation I was experiencing and recommended Dr. Clark. The first office visit was successful in even letting me know where the pain was most likely originating. Then, we worked on a solid home program to stretch, strengthen, and repair what was "off" with my hip. It took more than a month of visits - which is unusual - but Dr. Clark didn't give up on finding the cause. He'd "clear" one tight muscle system and things would improve but I wasn't pain free yet. Then...+ show more he'd design a program to clear another muscle system. Finally he found the cause of the problem - and it had probably working itself into a sad state for months/years. The rest from surgery just triggered a flare up. Once he'd freed that last muscle/tendon from tightness we both had a feeling that we might have found the cause. He said to contact him over the weekend and report progress. The NEXT MORNING I cleaned the house, ran errands, worked in the yard, and didn't even THINK about my hip. This was the first time in two months that there was no pain - not even a twinge. I texted this happy news and he quickly responded with celebrations on both sides. I knew this wasn't a bone problem! It was soft tissue. Had I gone to an orthopedic (I actually had an appointment but cancelled it as Dr. Clark was making progress) surgeon I would probably already be under the knife by now. Had I gone to a "traditional" physical therapist I'd most likely still be in pain but much poorer with three visits (and co-pays) a week for months. (That was the case after my rotator cuff repair.) I now have a program that works to keep my hip pain free and a plan if it ever flares up like this again. Dr. Clark, I want to thank you so much - I can't imagine how I'd keep up with the kids, my professorship, or all the things I love to do had you not kept trying to find the cause of the pain. I lived on opioid pain medication for years before the doctors replaced my knee - I feared that would be in my future again. Thanks to you I am jumping around with the kids, played volleyball yesterday, and walk the classroom interacting with students all the time now. THANK YOU!

My first airrosti appointment I was a mess limping into the office in so much pain and right away you see smiles that greet you and offer you a water. I went through two ER visits, many doctors appointments and two months of physical therapy for my hip pain and still got no relief. The physical therapist identified the problem of my SI Joint being dislocated and corrected it but I was still walking with a cane. I am a nurse on my feet throughout a 12 hour shift and this injury put me out of work while I was immobile. Dr. Owens stepped in and told me to make an appointment to see what he could do for me. I was tearful on my first visit but as we continued through the care I was able to leave each visit with less and less of a limp. After ...+ show moresix visits I can finally say that I am pain free! I am so thankful for the time and patience everyone had with me during this difficult injury to finally get me back to feeling myself again.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Miller who treated me. I suffer from an old childhood injury from when I was in dance. I dislocated my right hip by going in the splits. I did not get to go though extensive rehab because the health care team though I was young enough that the ligaments and muscles would heal themselves. I have gone 19 years living with the pain in my hip, Ive seen doctors on top of doctors who refused to get an X ray to see what was going on in the hip, Ive been to physical therapy, been prescribed 800mg Motrin 3 times a day and Neproxin (Advil) three times a day, Ive had doctors even give me exercises to do and send me home. Nothing helped! As a child I also suffered from lower back pain and id see a chiropractor ...+ show morewho realigned me all the time and popped the damaged hip to be even. Still, nothing fixed the pain or explained what was going on. My last hope was Airrosti, who came to my crossfit box for free consultations. Since ive been living with the pain, i workout hard on it and just ignored it but still was wanting to know what was happening. I spent an hour my firs visit talking with Dr. Miller and he explained to me what was happening, even before he palpated (touched) the hip and areas around it to see what was happening. He explained in great detail about what he suspected was going on, how we are going to treat it and my expectations. I am a nurse, but he still explained everything in great detail as if I had no idea about the human body to make sure I understood exactly what was going on. He always asked me if I had any questions and concerns and addressed them before the visit was over I went through 4 appt. with him and after the first visit, I have never felt such relief from the hip pain in the 19 years I suffered from it. What I loved was Dr. miller worked through the scar tissue but sent me home with stretches and simple strength exercises to do at home to keep my progress moving forward. He even made sure I understood the stretches and the treatment plan before I left the appt. During the appts, I will not lie it was painful because the amount of scar tissue I had built up in my hip. But Dr. miller constantly asked me how I was doing, and when I felt dizzy or it hurt to much he'd give me a break and/or lightened up on the pressure. There was even one point I had a question during the home routine and he got back to me with in that same day. Usually you wait days for your Dr. to reply to you. Over all, after my 4th appt, I graduated from their program but Dr miller is still checking up on me to make sure I am not having new pain and I am progressing. He was able to help me with this him pain and problem in less then a month with out surgery, needles, or even medications. I am so relieve and happy with the experience and I am truly happy I found Airrosti, because my next step was surgery. Dr. miller has kept me from having to have surgery at the age of 27. I highly recommend him and the whole Airrosti practice.

I've lived with soft tissue pain in my quad and hip for two years after I had a partial hip replacement due to a fall. I had several rounds of PT, steroid shots and was even taking Norco at least twice a week. Nothing helped. My pain continued and affected my ability to walk without a limp. I read about Airrosti on Facebook and did my research. When I read it only takes three sessions to get relief I was ecstatic! I made an appointment with Dr. Sandi Kramer at the office on Fredericksburg in San Antonio. She worked on my quad and hip for three sessions and my pain is 90% gone! Pete taught me some exercises and also taught me about small equipment you can buy to massage the pain points. I've learned so much more from Dr. Sandi and Pete th...+ show morean I ever did from any physical therapists. My quality of life has improved immensely. I'm back at the gym! About 3 weeks ago I was referred to Airrosti for some problem I had been experiencing in my hip for over a month. After being misdiagnosed 2 times by other medical professionals I was looking for a solution. I found it here at Airrosti. I saw Dr. Bryson Clark who quickly diagnosed the issue and began work on me right away. The natural therapy was a little uncomfortable and intense at first but ultimately very helpful. After seeing Dr. Clark I went to Megan for in home exercising instructions. She is very patient, deliberate and supportive in all of her directions. After my first visit I saw immediate results in naturally lowering the pain i was experiencing. I have continued with the at home exercises, and have been to 3 appointments. I ...+ show morecouldn't be happier with the results! I feel like I am making real progress in getting back to living my life free of pain and I didn't have to get any shots or injections. All natural! Thanks very much to Dr. Bryson Clark and Megan Leonard! I highly recommend anybody experiencing intense muscular pain to give these guys a try!

Six weeks ago it was all I could do to stand up and walk. After just a few treatments on my left knee & hip I can now get back to working around my place without the fear of overdoing it. As a freelance photojournalist (if I can't work, I don't make money). I reserved walking for the days I was working. Thank You Dr. Christy & Brian for giving me back my life!

I've had hip pain for several years and I immediately felt relief after one visit with Airrosti. After three visits I have no pain and they equipped me with knowledge and exercises to strengthen those areas so I can be pain free for life! Dr. Rios was attentive, patient, and kind. I always left feeling heard and understood. She is incredibly knowledgeable about how our body works and she has a desire to genuinely help you.

I'm extremely happy with the treatment and quick results I received from Dr. Bertrand and Alana. It was a direct answer to my prayers. I had been having fairly intense pain in my hip for about a year before seeking medical treatment. Thankfully, my primary care doctor recommended Airrosti treatment with Dr. Bertrand. Within 4 days of my first treatment, my pain level had been reduced by 40-50%. After only 2 visits (and about 10 days of home prescribed stretching and strengthening exercises), my hip was pain free, and complete mobility was restored! Thank you Dr. Bertrand and Alana!
