Types Of Knee Injuries

Patellar Tendonitis

Also known as Jumper’s Knee, this condition occurs when the tendon connecting the kneecap to the shin bone becomes painfully irritated from overuse.

Osgood-Schlatter Disease

This condition can occur in adolescents as their growth plates and tendons that connect muscles to the patella, or kneecap, become inflamed and irritated.

IT (Iliotibial) Band Syndrome

Pain on the side of the knee is often associated with inflammation and irritation along the IT Band, which runs along the thigh from the hip to the knee.

From Our Patients:

Initially, I started the year off with an on-and-off sharp pain in my knee for about a month. It was difficult to squat even without any weights. One day, my coworker recommended Airrosti. It was quick and easy to set up an appointment, and the website gives you different locations to choose from. Within the first visit, I could squat again with some discomfort. Within four visits, I’m cleared to return to the gym and exercise with weights again. I’m so grateful for the rapid results. Thank you, Dr. Garza.

I had a knee injury from running and playing pickleball. I was having trouble climbing stairs before I saw Dr. Parsons. I had a hiking trip arranged for the next few days. Dr. Parson was truly amazing! After one hour of treatment, I was able to walk and climb stairs without any pain. Two days later, I completed the Rim-To-Rim-To Rim hike in the Grand Canyon. It took me 20 hours, but I never had any issues with my knee during the 49-mile-long hike. I strongly recommend Dr. Parsons! I hope I don’t need to see him again, but if I have any injury, he would be the first doctor I see!
