Meet our Provider of the Month, Alexis Janovsky, DC. We caught up with her to learn about her first job, her favorite vacation, and her favorite holiday!
Where is your practice?
My practice is in West Fort Worth, Texas.
Where are you originally from?
I am originally from Flower Mound, Texas.
How long have you been with Airrosti?
I have now been with Airrosti for five months!
What’s your favorite thing about working at Airrosti?
Helping my patients get back to doing what they love pain free. Nothing is more rewarding than being able to play an impactful role in my patients’ health.
Favorite recovery tool?
As you can see from my demonstration in this link, my favorite recovery tool has got to be the lacrosse ball!
Name three things you love to do in your spare time.
In my free time, I love to cook, take my dog to the dog park, and watch football in my media room (go Cowboys!).
What’s been your favorite trip/vacation, and why?
My favorite vacation is my annual trip to Rehoboth Beach, DE with my whole family. This has been a tradition in my family ever since I was young, and although I have never lived in Delaware, this place has always felt like my second home. I love the time I get to spend with my family here and all the memories that are associated with going to Rehoboth.
Coffee or tea?
I wish so badly I was a tea person because that sounds so elegant, but I am a two-cups-a-day coffee person.
Morning person or night owl?
Again, I wish I could say I was a morning person, but I am definitely a night owl.
If you were an animal, what animal would you be?
Squirrel.
What’s a piece of advice or wisdom that has had a significant impact on your life?
We are not what we know but what we are willing to learn.
What’s your favorite holiday?
This is very cliché, but Christmas. I love the holiday spirit!
What’s your favorite fitness activity?
Reformer pilates. Being able to lie down and work out is the best.
Introvert or extrovert?
Extroverted introvert.
What was your first job?
I was a skating carhop girl at Sonic (I rocked a pair of purple skates).
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done, or what’s something on your adventure bucket list?
I would love to go zip-lining in Costa Rica.
