Meet our Provider of the Month, Alisa Sharma, DC. We caught up with her to learn which superpower she could have, what she loves to do in her spare time, and one thing can’t live without!
Describe your favorite thing about your job.
I have so many! I get to work with so many unique patients, from different backgrounds and various careers, while I help them get back to doing the things they love. At times we have to get creative with our exercises in a way that best suits their work environment or busy lifestyle. The conversations I have and the things I learn from all my patients are what keeps my job exciting!
Best food recommendation near your practice’s location.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a dentist for the longest time. But seeing how I can educate my patients about movement and biomechanics to improve their quality of life spoke to me and here we are!
What’s one cause you are passionate about?
Improving altruism, even from the smallest gestures.
Name three things you love to do in your spare time.
Baking, particularly with healthier alternatives to common ingredients, traveling to new places, and drinking matcha lattes.
If you could be in any movie, what would it be and why?
Hmm, probably a Marvel movie. I started watching all the movies during the pandemic. Now I’m all caught up and into superheroes.
What’s a hidden skill or a fact that no one would guess about you?
I might be petite, but I’ve got strong thumbs when it comes to Airrosti care!
What’s your favorite sport?
I love watching all kinds of sports, but I enjoy playing tennis.
If you could have any superpower, which would you choose and why?
To be able to move at the speed of light! It would be such a time saver.
Finally, name one thing you couldn’t live without.
