I spent three months in physical therapy for pain in my left knee and was even seeing a chiropractor to try to get healthy again. My knee did not seem to be getting better, so I decided to try Airrosti. After a few visits, Dr. Ryabinov had my knee feeling better and even treated me for my tennis elbow. I am now healthy again and FINALLY back to working out. Dr. Ryabinov and his staff were always a pleasure to work with, and I’m extremely grateful for their help.

Dr. Ryabinov is amazing, and has helped every single one of our family members! It started several years ago when my husband had to stop running due to an achilles issue and thought his running days were over. Dr. Ryabinov took care of that issue. I had suffered for years with plantar fasciitis and Dr. Ryabinov got me out of those unattractive orthotic shoes. All three of my children participated in competitive Irish Dancing and would inevitably suffer debilitating injuries weeks before major competitions due to increased practices, and Dr. Ryabinov saved 1 Oireachtas (regional Irish Dance competition) and 2 World competition opportunities for our family by working on feet, knee, hip & back pain. Any pain, any where, on anyone…Dr. Ryab+ show moreinov’s got you covered!

A couple weeks ago I set out on my almost daily run around the neighborhood. I made it about 200 yards before I felt a brief shooting pain across my right knee. The sensation immediately subsided so I proceeded with my 5K, squats, and lunges. The next day my knee was in serious pain; I realized I pushed myself too far the night before. I typically like to wait a couple days before going to a doctor, but this time was different and knew the quicker I was seen, the quicker I’d be able to resume my workouts. A friend (a Crossfit devotee) had referred Airrosti and sang their praises, especially how their priority is to get you back to normal activities asap. As an athlete, my biggest concern was how long I would have to wait before I could w+ show moreork out again. I went in for my appointment, prepared to hear that I would have to take it easy for (at least) a couple days. Dr. Ryabinov assessed my knee, movement abilities (specifically with squats and lunges which were the motions that caused the most pain), and flexibility. He then “worked” on my knee (to me it was simply magic), which produced some sharp pain which he said we were looking for. I don’t know that sharp pain was what I was looking for, but my trust was in him and I rolled with it. After the “work” he again assessed my movement, scheduled my next treatment appointment, and sent me over to see Adam to learn some physical therapy exercises. When I left the office, I noticed my knee did feel a little bit better. Within 24 hours (seriously, no exaggeration) my knee was PAIN FREE. I cautiously resumed my normal exercises, with the addition of the suggested physical therapy, and have had no issues since. I’m still not exactly sure what he did…I’ve settled for “magic” as my explanation. I will absolutely return to them for my future needs and will undoubtedly refer others to their office as well. The biggest appeal for me to go to them over my regular doctor was the fact that I wanted to resume activity as quickly as possible – I just didn’t realize it was going to be THAT quick! In gratitude, Christy

For the past 3 years I have been suffering from bursitis of the left hip which kept me from running, and resulted in weight gain. About 3 weeks ago I began seeing Dr. Ryabinov at the now Ashburn, VA Airrosti. Dr. Ryabinov evaluated my hip and gave me exercises to do with my foam roller. After 3 weeks of exercise and 4 visits with Dr. Ryabinov, I’m overjoyed to say that I’m able to run again and on my way to being the healthy gal my husband married. BTW, I’m 58 years young.

I suffered from lower back pain for several months. My first step was to go to my Physical Therapy/Chiropractor for treatment but no significant results. I was a bit lost and could not resume my tennis activity. I had an MRI which showed a few bulging discs. I did not want to do surgery but the other option was steroid injection which would not resolved my lower back pain. I was desperate and I talked to a tennis coach who highly recommended to check Airrosti in Sterling VA. I was skeptical about going to another chiropractor but when you are in pain you have nothing to lose. I met with Dr. Josiah Ryabinov. The first session was about an 1hour. It is very a unique experience. You are the only person on one on one. He review my medical re+ show morecords and worked on my back fascial tissue. He find the exact location of my pain and was phenomenal. Then exercises were provided to alleviate the pain. I could not believe how I could feel so much better. I was even back on court the next day! I did a second session and now I am feeling so much better and resume my tennis activity. I wish I knew soon about Airrosti I wasted 3 months of doing nothing at home and becoming depressed. I can thank enough Dr. J.Ryabinov! He really saved me from surgery or injections that would have not been ideal!

I came to get treatment for a calf strain and plantar fasciitis, both injuries that incurred over 10 years ago. My pain symptoms would come and go and I have sought treatment from two podiatrists and one other physical therapist, with no results. They all gave me cookie cutter exercises that I already knew how to do, being a personal trainer myself. I was a little apprehensive about seeing another therapist but Dr. Ryabinov came highly recommended so I was willing to try once more. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise Dr. Ryabinov and his assistant Joseph exhibited. They were very patient in answering my questions and explained how they were going to treat me which made me feel very comf+ show moreortable. I felt immediate relief from the first manual therapy session. After only 5 sessions, my pain was almost gone. I don’t expect it to be completely gone right away since the condition existed for so long but I hope that by continuing the prescribed strengthening exercises , it will be completely healed in time. Thanks Dr. Ryabinov and Joseph for such wonderful care.

I have had two injuries Dr. Matthys has worked on – tennis elbow and sore Achilles tendons. For both, his first treatment provided immediate major relief from the pain. The subsequent visits took care of any lingering discomfort. The best part of Airrosti is that they teach exercises, stretches, and tools to use at home. These have helped with recovery and also prevent a repeat injury. I am very active in ladies tennis and CrossFit – with Airrosti treatments I have not had to stop working out! Thank you, thank you!

In May of 2013 I broke my left shoulder while on vacation.  I did not have surgery, but was put in a sling for seven weeks. I then began physical therapy three days a week for almost eight months.  It got better, but I was never able to fully move my left arm and I continued to have pain at night.  I woke up often in pain with an ache. I went to Airrosti and in three visits I am able to move my arm in all directions and I have not woken up in the night at all.  I am also now able to sleep on my left side, which I have not been able to do since my accident.  I am truly amazed how the Airrosti process was able to solve those problems when my orthopedist and physical therapist could not. I’d like to thank Josiah for his help with controlling the pain in my elbows and forearms during my preparation for The CrossFit Games. As one of the oldest athletes competing at Regionals this year, I was determined to improve my handwalking once the event was announced. Unfortunately, the thirty minutes per day practice sessions caused both elbows to flare up. This impacted many other gymnastic and lifting movements. Josiah diagnosed it as “tennis elbow” and starting seeing me two to three times per week. The treatment sessions allowed me to continue my rigorous training routine through Regionals and The CrossFit Games; ultimately leading to a first place finish in the Women’s 45-49 age category. I truly believe the gold medal wou+ show moreld not have been possible if Airrosti and Josiah were not accessible. Thank you Airrosti. And, thank you Josiah!

My training came to a fast halt when I suffered double achilles tendonitis. I felt my goal of getting my miles up for my third Tough Mudder was in serious doubt.
In only four treatments, Dr. Ryabinov converted me from hobbled and extremely sore, to running and happily painless. Even better was the education I received to help me keep this injury from happening again.

A month later he also knocked out a nagging shoulder stinger in only one visit. Can’t thank him and you all enough. I’m an Airrosti believer.

Incredibly impressed with the care I was provided by Dr. Ryabinov. From the assessment of my issue(s) to the education provided, and treatment administered, Dr. Ryabinov was amazingly thorough and accurate.
I had suffered with lower back issues for many years, and had gone to many physicians/chiropractors, with limited success.

Dr. Ryabinov assessed my situation and developed a plan to address the problem areas. All I can say is WOW! I haven’t felt this pain free for years!

It is with extreme pleasure and gratification that I recommend Dr. Ryabinov!

In the spring of 2013, after the CrossFit open competition, I was thrilled to qualify as a master for the games in CA, as well as participate with my gym’s team in the regional competition. Training at a level I never had before, my body was feeling it. Throbbing elbows kept me awake at night, and training for the overhead squat WOD caused injury to my lat. I was uncertain if I could maintain that level of training, when others at my gym recommended Airrosti. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Josiah Ryabinov, but was skeptical. He treated the lat injury first, as it was the most painful. I was shocked when he told me I could train that night, including overhead squats. I had anticipated being told to rest for a week. I trained that nig+ show moreht and had no pain! Follow up visits focused on my elbows, and with one visit the pain was gone from my left elbow. The right elbow needed more work, but with weekly treatments, I was able to continue training at a level that led me to a medal at the world games! I couldn’t have done it without Dr. Ryabinov’s treatments. He is knowledgeable, personable and very skilled. I’m very grateful for Dr. Ryabinov. If not for him and Airrosti, I would not have been able to continue training at the level which brought me to a podium finish.

I had been suffering from pain in my shoulder for close to three years. Chiropractic work did nothing, and massage fixed itching. I ordered two different “Fix My Shoulder” programs online, and still the issue persisted.
Hearing about Airrosti from a fellow coach at CrossFit, I made an appointment, already resigned to needing surgery to get the shoulder ‘right’.

Dr. Ryabinov did a thorough assessment, and thought he could improve my situation, and that it would probably take 2-3 sessions. While the treatment is not enjoyable, the results are real. I did three treatments, and was given a protocol to follow to keep things from regressing.

I am now three months past my last treatment, and my shoulder pain is gone.+ show more My overhead squat (which was very painful prior) has gone from a shaky 75# to 135#, with no adverse feelings the next day.

Here is what I like best about Airrosti’s approach…they do not want you as a client. Unlike some providers who want to see you weekly over a long period of time (with no end in sight), Airrosti wants to fix you once, and be done with you. Josiah is also very honest, and if they do not believe their treatment is appropriate for your issue, they will tell you that, and not treat simply for the billing opportunity.

Dr. Ryabinov is, by far, one of the most respectful, knowledgeable, and effective doctors that I have ever dealt with. My first experience with Dr. Ryabinov was a year and a half ago, here in San Antonio, after I severely sprained my ankle playing basketball. My only thought was, “How am I going to play in the next game.” This “next game” was less than a week away. My ankle was at the point where any movement was excruciating. It didn’t even need pressure, just the touch would hurt. Needless to say, I had an extremely difficult time walking on it. This was when a good friend of mine referred me to Dr. Ryabinov because he knew what this next game meant to me. Now, when I went (and when you go) Dr. Ryabinov clearly explained the process. + show moreAnd I will tell you, the process was worth it! After only two visits, I was all over the court without a second thought!
I back Dr. Ryabinov and what all of him and his colleagues are doing.

Dr. Ryabinov was an excellent provider. He provided me not only with great care, but also extensive research concerning my specific issue. It takes a special person to make you want the pain he puts you through, but in the end he fixed what was ailing me. Very appreciative of Dr. Ryabinov!

Dr. Ryabinov is simply amazing! He got me through two marathons on a torn ankle tendon with his attentive treatment. He explained everything in great detail and has an incredible ‘bedside manner’, putting me at ease and making me feel confident that I’d quickly recover from my injury. Dr. R is deeply concerned about and committed to his patients and their recoveries. And he seems to have magic healing powers! I’ve recommended him repeatedly and would see him in a heartbeat for another injury!

For all your CrossFit aches and pains I HIGHLY recommend Airrosti and Dr. Josiah. He can work magic in a way that can keep you working out throughout you not feeling your best!
