Meet our Provider of the Month, Dr. Nikita Cheema! She’s always ready for an adventure and isn’t afraid to try new things. When she’s not traveling the world, she can be found treating patients at her practice in Mill Creek, WA.

1) Where is your practice?

I’m located in Mill Creek, Washington.

2) Where are you originally from?

Marysville, Washington.

3) How long have you been with Airrosti?

I have been with Airrosti for 1 year and 3 months. Woot woooot!

4) Describe your favorite thing about your job.

My favorite thing about my job is that I get to effectively diagnose and treat my patients every day. The whole hour I spend with my patients is so powerful and I love seeing the immediate results in office. I cannot believe that I am so lucky to have been able to find such a wonderful team of patient-centered providers and support staff.

5) Describe your ultimate vacation?

My ultimate vacation would include my favorite hobbies: hiking, swimming, sleeping, and eating. Specifically, I would love to backpack across South America, primarily to see the Amazon, the Perito Moreno Glacier, Iguazu falls, and of course Torres del Paine National Park!  I would be able to eat all different kinds of food, sleep in treehouses, swim in both the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean in one trip and, most importantly, practice my broken Spanish from high school.

6) What’s your favorite all-time favorite movie?

I love movies, so I am just going to say all of them. Just kidding! Probably Home Alone, which I have seen at least 500 times in my lifetime, and I’m excited to see 500 more times.

7) What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?

Guinea pig in Machu Picchu, Peru. It reminded me of chicken.

8) If you won a million dollars what would you do with it?

If I won a million dollars I would probably invest half (I know, boring right), buy sailing lessons, and then buy a sail boat to see how far I could sail from Florida to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, etc. before my PTO would run out.

9) If you were given a yacht what would you name it and why?

I would name the yacht The Grand Chiquita. Growing up, one of my nicknames was Chiquita Banana, so it would have either been the Grand Chiquita or Grand Banana and I like Chiquita better.

10) What’s your favorite sport?

I love hiking, hands-down!

 11) If you could have any super power, which would you choose and why?

If I could have any super power it would be teleportation. If I had this super power I would teleport every morning to Italy for my coffee, and then a new city every day for my lunch and dinner. Thank God my credit card doesn’t charge international fees.

12) Finally, name one thing you couldn’t live without.

One thing I couldn’t live without would be my family. They always support my crazy ideas, they are my comedic relief,  and most importantly my biggest fans.
