Became an Airrosti Provider:2022

Undergraduate School:Texas A&M University

Graduate School:Texas Chiropractic College

Hometown:Hallettsville, Texas

Hobbies:I love traveling, hiking, swimming, and exploring with my husband, George, and our two rescue dogs, Rosie and Hazel. I am a terrible athlete but a devoted sports fan, especially for Team USA in the Olympics, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Texas A&M Aggies. I thoroughly enjoy the arts and can often be found taking in a stage musical at the Bass Concert Hall or yelling at my television during the Oscars or the Emmys. In my spare time, I love checking out local restaurants and breweries and am always open to any food recommendations.

Interesting Facts:I grew up on a 100 acre cattle ranch in South Texas, which my parents still live on and operate to this day, in addition to their day jobs. I love to travel and have a goal to visit all 50 states and as many countries as I can manage in my lifetime. I hope to eventually hike in every national park in the country and every state park in Texas, and have already made significant progress on the latter. I used to swim competitively and, while I no longer have the stamina in the pool I once had, I still love to hit the pool whenever I get the chance. I am an avid fan of many genres of music, with a specific soft spot for the country music I was raised on, especially Dolly Parton and Shania Twain.

Awards and Recognitions:I graduated as valedictorian twice, from Hallettsville High School and from my doctoral program at Texas Chiropractic College. I was a member of the Omega Psi Honor Society at Texas Chiropractic College and the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society at Texas A&M University. During Pride Month in June 2022, I was selected and interviewed as a spotlighted LGBTQ+ provider by the TCC chapter of the Student American Chiropractic Association.

What Airrosti Means to Me:Airrosti provides me a platform and space to truly make a difference in the lives of people dealing with pain and injuries. Through Airrosti, I am able to utilize my strengths to get people out of pain quickly and back to what they love doing, utilizing a proven treatment model that is both fast and extremely effective. Additionally, as one of only a few openly gay providers within Airrosti and this field as a whole, it is not lost on me that I should always be striving to embody a positive example and safe space for the LGBTQ+ community. I feel Airrosti's full support in this endeavor, and will always ensure that my office is an open and accepting place for any patient that needs my help, especially those who have not previously felt accepted or heard by healthcare professionals.

I was in pain almost every day in my neck area, as an active person it was hard for me to do my every day activities I enjoyed. After my first session with Dr. Raabe I noticed a difference and the pain was almost gone. Dr. Raabe was very helpful and understanding. After several treatments I am not back to doing what I enjoy and staying active. Overall, I had a great experience and I highly recommend using Dr. Raabe for any pain or injury.

I hurt my leg dancing and I was worried I’d never be able to get back to this activity that brings me so much joy. My Provider Dakota did a great job of listening to my concerns and goals and creating a treatment plan to get me back out dancing again. The in-person treatments always made a big difference in the days that followed and the at-home exercises kept me on track to promote my own recovery in-between visits. I am so thankful for Dakota – not only did he get me out dancing again, but he was just a really nice person to chat with.

I’m in my second trimester and starting to have pain in my lower back/ glute area. Even though I’m growing every day, Dr. Raabe significantly helped me after only 2 visits. He set expectations and reasonably met them. I’m feeling much better now! I will not hesitate to go back or refer a friend!

I came with a SI joint problem. Dr. Raabe was very compassionate and took great care of me. It took about 5 visits. The trigger point therapies and the exercises he provided fixed the problem. I will recommend him highly to anyone who needs chiropractic care.

After over 7 years of chronic lower back and hip pain, I thought there was nothing that would solve my problem. I had been to countless chiropractors and specialists who were only able to temporality reduce my pain. Now after treatment, I remember what it feels like to be human again. I have a newfound energy that I’m excited to restart my normal life again!

I went in with a lot of lower back pain (non trauma related). I thought bones would’ve cracked but they weren’t. They focused more on the muscle and to my surprise it was exactly what I needed. After years of back pain, it only took 2 sessions to feel better!!

Went in for shoulder pain that had not let up for over a month. I was worried I had a torn rotator cuff it was so bad. After 4 treatments with Dr. Raabe the pain is 100 percent gone and I have back full range of motion.

Went in with an aching pain in my elbow. Immediate relief after the first appointment. After my 3rd appointment my pain levels went from an 8 to a 0. Scheduling was so easy, flexible schedules, great location, and Dakota was very professional and knowledgeable. They gave me tips, exercises, and stretches to do at home for continued relief. So glad I trusted them.

I limped into see Dr. Raabe with my right knee hurting. I walked out of there. Each time I saw him, he found a new pressure point that continued to release the pain surrounding my knee. This was my third experience with Airrosti and I am very impressed. I also feel confident in being able to continue to strengthen my knee thanks to the physical therapy exercises he taught me. I highly recommend Dr. Raabe. With no drugs, no surgery, and in a short amount of time I have my physical health back! What a gift!
