KT Tape and James Harden

Houston Rockets’ James Harden recently signed with KT Tape as an Athlete Endorser. He regularly wears KT Tape during games to prevent injuries and relieve pain.
Throughout his career, Harden has suffered shoulder and knee injuries, but has lost little game play.

“I’ve been a big fan of kinesiology therapeutic tape ever since I was introduced to it years ago as it’s helped me stay competitive throughout the long NBA season when my body endures a lot of physical strains,” said Harden.

How Kinesiology Tape Heals

Support the muscle. Proper taping supports the muscle and allows it to contract even when weakened by injury. This reduces pain and the risk of cramping and over-extension of the muscle group.
Improve circulation. Kinesiology tape slightly lifts the tissue of the applied area allowing blood to flow more freely. This reduces recovery time and diminishes bruising. The slight lift also reduces inflammation and buildup on the muscles, tissues and tendons speeding recovery time.
Joint support. By adding slight compression, kinesiology tape corrects joint issues. The compression works to slightly adjust misalignments that result from tight muscles or adhesions on the fascia.

Airrosti And Shoulder Injuries

Airrosti combines targeted treatment with active rehab exercises and the use of kinesiology tape to relieve pain quickly. At each treatment session, your Airrosti provider will conduct a thorough evaluation to pinpoint the underlying cause of your pain. Next, he or she will develop a custom treatment plan and treat the pain directly at the source.
This targeted treatment combined with patient education about at-home recovery leads to rapid injury resolution and future injury prevention. By better understanding the cause of the injury, patients can recognize the causes and early symptoms and begin to implement Airrosti prescribed at-home exercises and stretches to eliminate the pain quickly.
