What Airrosti Means to Me:Wow! Airrosti is a way that I can help a lot of people. I still love traditional chiropractic and go to mine for regular tune-ups. But, for musculoskeletal injuries, sprains, strains and tears, Airrosti is blowing my old stuff away. 3-4 visits on average as opposed to starting at 12 visits. Definitely not traditional chiropractic. This stuff is awesome!

I had a nagging shoulder/neck injury and finally sought treatment from Kurt Edeker and his team at Airrosti Brodie South. I was so impressed with how smooth the reservations system was and the treatment I got from Dr. Edeker was top-notch. My pain was significantly diminished after my first visit. Now, I’ve seen him twice and my body is functioning completely differently. I feel great and more able to engage and stabilize my shoulder than I have been able to in a long time. Without his treatment, I would not be able to recover as well or as fast. I’m so excited I went!

I injured my neck at a volleyball tournament and couldn’t move me head at all. I couldn’t even sit up in bed without head from someone. I went to another doctor, but the pain only went away for a couple hours. I then went to airrosti desperate because I had to get back on the court fast. I felt results after only one treatment. I was back on the court and even competed in my track meet the next day. After my third visit I was completely pain free and haven’t had any issues since.

I confess that I chose Airrosti and this particular location only because it was the closest physical therapy place of any kind. I was even a bit skeptical before I went there, wondering if Airrosti was some kind of gimmick. Instead, I’ve become a true believer! Back north where I’m from I went to more conventional physical therapy places many times for many different problems over the years, and that was very helpful. But I was impressed by the amount of ongoing individual attention with Airrosti, and I how learned effective strategies that I continue at home and never would have thought of on my own. For example, it’s even counter-intuitive to “park” the sorest spots of my strained calf muscle on top of a lacrosse ball perched on + show morea firm yoga block, because that hurts, but as I leave it there, the pain decreases and the ball stretches the necessary parts of the muscle deep inside my leg. Airrosti completely cured–quickly–the problem that got me there to begin with: a very sore area beside my knee that had made it painful, for a whole year, to run, ride my bike, or sometimes even walk. After 4 visits, that was totally gone. (But I keep working that area to make sure that it stays gone.) And these folks are really nice, a pleasure to work with. Thanks!

I had back surgery 12/2014 for a herniated disk L4/L5. Prior to surgery I tried everything. It was an unusually tough recovery and if I had known this I would not have had the surgery. I developed scar tissue. I did do physical therapy prior to surgery but didn’t go right after surgery due to no insurance. But I did do the exercises at home after surgery and walked. But it still wasn’t enough. I ended up going to another PT place that had a DC, NC and massage therapist but it was the same excerises and I wasn’t getting any results. I also had injections which did not help, neither did acupuncture. A friend told me about Airrosti. Of course I was skeptical but felt better after the first session. They educated me on the fact that after th+ show moree surgery I developed scar tissue and unless that is broken up, you will never get rid of the pain, no matter how many excersices you do. The exercises help with core strength & back BUT only using the Lacrosse ball will break up scar tissue!! Why didn’t any of the other doctors tell me about this simple yet effective tool? I wish I had found Dr. Edeker & Angela years ago! They are amazing & know their stuff. If you have pain, Airrosti will get rid of it for good!!!!

Back in May of 2012, I was going to the gym 4 times/week lifting weights and doing cardio just to keep fit. I developed a terrible swelling pain in my right wrist. The pain was so bad I was not able to hold a pencil with my right hand. I had to quit going to the gym because I couldn’t use any of the machines. I also had to stop my marathon training because the pain was so bad when I ran. I went to my primary care doctor and he immediately said it was gout. I didn’t think it was gout because there wasn’t any redness or heat. After a week of excruciating pain and no relieve from Gout meds, I went to an Internal medicine doctor to get a 2nd opinion. This office did x-rays and then an MRI. Neither of these test showed what was wrong, + show moreso the doctor said that I needed to get a cortisone shot. I didn’t know what to expect and I thought the doctor knew what he was doing. This was the most painful procedure I have ever experienced! I let out a bunch of cuss words and I nearly passed out from the pain! I wanted to punch him out! The nurse said I did well but in about an hour the pain was going to get worse. Boy was she right! I had to make sure to get home and in my house before this happened. The pain was so bad I had tears. I had to get this fixed. A few days later, I wasn’t getting any relief and I was discussing my issue with a friend. She suggested I go see her acupuncturist. I did go to an acupuncturist before with a positive outcome. After a few sessions and no relief my other half suggested I go to Airrosti. I was miserable, this was 2 months after the pain started. I looked it up and there was one in my area in Cedar Park. This is where I met Dr. Kurt Edeker. He examined me and explained how the sessions may be a bit painful. Well after that cortisone shot, nothing could be that painful. It was, but after one session I actually could feel a bit of relief. I walked out of the office feeling very optimistic about this treatment and I honestly felt immediate sense of relief. I was still in pain but it was less than when I walked in. After 4 treatments from Dr. Edeker and doing the assigned exercises throughout the day my wrist was healing. I was back at the gym starting out slowly but I was able to use my wrist again. I also started my marathon training. I really wish I would have gone to Airrosti much sooner. I now see Dr. Ellspermann (aka El Superman) because it’s so close to UT Campus. I have sent several of my friends to Airrosti because of my positive experiences.

I had what I thought was a neck sprain. Thought it will get better on its own. The pain was getting better, but slowly migrating to my shoulder and elbow. I would be fine in the morning, and as the day went it was like my arm was a weight my shoulder couldn’t bear. Two weeks later, went to see Dr. Edeker of Airrosti. He identified the issue: I had hurled something and slightly dislocated my shoulder and gotten a kink in my trapezius muscle. It was healing up all wrong, so even though the edge of the pain wasn’t as bad, the wrong healing was causing pain in the arm and elbow. He did a targeted treatment ironing out my trapezius, breaking up all the wrongly healed muscles, and taping them up for them to heal back the right way. Then he re+ show morecommended a lacrosse ball and a roller to help with my rehab, and prescribed exercises. After 3 visits, no pain!! I highly recommend Dr. Edeker, words cannot describe my relief. He is wonderful and that doesn’t even begin to describe how skilled he is. I have since recommended him to a lady whom I met on a hike and who complained of pain. Have recommended Airrosti to many others.

I went to Dr. Edeker for help with some issues for a hamstring strain. Come to find out, it was my aductor that was giving me the problems. After four visits, I’m able to run again.

Working with Dr. Edeker was an absolutely wonderful experience. I met with him after experiencing ongoing ankle pain from several injuries over the last few years of playing basketball. In just three treatments my ankle condition was significantly improved. I am now back to full playing potential and I am armed with rehab knowledge to upkeep those joints. I would highly recommend Dr. Edeker and the Airrosti team to my friends and family because of my great experience with them. If you are in pain, please see them.

Im a firefighter and drummer in Austin TX. I also lift weights habitually. Those three things led to an extremely sore, and near out of commission, right elbow. Airrosti was recommended to me by a girl at my gym so I gave it a shot. Dr Edeker and Alex treated me and they were both awesome. After the first visit, I could tell it was going to help a lot. They are very knowledgeable and helpful when explaining what they are doing and where my pain issues arose from. Within 4 visits, I was healed, with the pain becoming less and less each visit. My wife also had issues from weight lifting and her work and I told her she had to give Airrosti a try. Sure enough, it worked for her as well! I would recommend Airrosti to anyone experiencing physi+ show morecal pain or sports related injuries.

Dr. Kurt Edeker and Alex Janss are amazing! I have been treated for a few injuries including shoulder, high ankle sprain and mid foot sprain. All injuries were treated within 3-4 visits. Not only have my injuries been treated, but I was also educated during the process to get a better understanding of what happened and how to possibly avoid it in the future. Dr. Edeker is extremely knowledgeable, and he is always willing to share his knowledge to help me understand what occurred. Alex Janss has given me the knowledge on how to rehab my injuries, but most important given me the mobility exercises to help prevent them! I would recommend Airrosti with Dr. Edeker and Alex Janss to any of my family, friends and athletes! Excellent service fro+ show morem friendly and knowledgeable people! Thanks for keeping me healthy so that I can continue to train hard!

The pain in my hip was extreme and long-term. I was limping for months. Walking, Yoga, stretching, swimming, biking are my favorite activities, and I thought I would have to live in discomfort. Boy was I wrong. A friend of mine raved about Dr. Edeker. I would see him taped up in a long vertical strip down his leg. He was always getting injured and returning to play days later. So I asked for his Airrosti specialist contact information. My friend predicted all I needed was 2-3 visits. I thought to myself ( yeah right! Do you know how long I have been suffering?!). So I gave it a chance. Two visits. Two visits! Dr. Edeker and his assistant Alex saved my life. No kidding. He worked his airrosti Technique –in my hamstring, IT band, and down+ show more my calf. Alex showed me excellent stretches and I have been doing my stretching exercises, almost daily. I am back on my feet, even started jogging along lady bird lake. Pain free baby. That’s the only way to live, especially in such a cool city as Austin. There’s always stuff going on, and you can’t afford not to see Dr. Edeker. His treatment will change your life. And as as educator, my insurance was accepted, which makes the experience all the more feasible. Thank you Dr. Edeker and Alex! I would be miserable without you.

My shoulder was in pain for over 8months. I tried several solutions including chiropractic adjustments without success. I was finally down to pain killers and OTC drugs. My Camp Gladiator trainer referred me to Dr Edeker. ONE session and I had substantive relief and improvement. ONE. It took about 5 sessions and then I was done and back to virtually 100%. I’m still in shock.

“My visits to Airrosti exceeded my expectations. A lot of my skater friends recommended them for injuries, so when I hurt my knee I made an appointment with Dr. Kurt and Alex.
They did an amazing job at figuring out what the problem was, and teaching me how to treat it. In my second visit, I came in with a different back injury that was completely healed by my third visit.

Not only are Dr. Kurt and Alex very knowledgeable and great at their jobs, they are also very awesome people that show how much they care for others. I highly recommend them and Airrosti for athletes out there.”

I found Airrosti through CrossFit. Like most of the population in the US, I spent a significant amount of time driving and in front of a computer. Lack of shoulder mobility made CrossFit less enjoyable due to this issue. It has been over a year since I have started Airrosti and sing its praises to all of my athletes. The mixture of the practical and rehab make for a one two punch. My shoulders haven’t felt this good in years. Learning all of the stretches and specific mobilization tricks as giving me the tools to stay on top of any minor issues. As an athlete it is such a relief to know that there is an outlet to go to that will have you back in the game ASAP!

I have an 18 year history of back injuries. My L-4 and L-5 discs have been herniated many many times. I have had two back surgeries in 2008 and 2010. This year when I experienced that familiar pain I went to Airrosti instead of my long time physician. In 3 visits Edeker and Janss had me fully cured and pain free! I am so excited to discover a treatment that works so effectively and consistently. I have recommended Airrosti to all of my friends and family!

I’ve been doing ballet a little over a year after about a 15 hiatus. Well, long story short I injured my ankle because of repetitive overuse. I ignored it for so long that it developed into a constant deep ache, and I thought for sure I was facing forced inactivity or, even worse, a possible surgery. Dr. Edeker and Alex with Airrosti saved me! Through hands on manipulation of muscles and tendons as well as being taught the proper exercises for my ankle, the constant, nagging ache is gone! I’ve been given the tools to continue improving my previously injured joint and to make it even stronger. Dr. Edeker is great. He took the time to explain the workings of the muscles and tendons around my injury site, so that I would really understand w+ show morehat goes on in there and how I might have caused the inflammation. And Alex listened when I told her where the pain was concentrated and gave me the proper exercises to really zero in on the source of irritation. It’s been a month since I was given the all clear, and my ankle has continued to improve. Thank you, Dr. Edeker and Alex!

In 5 weeks I have a shoulder that works with full range. Prior to seeing Dr. Edkert I was facing surgery. I am so pleased.

I was 8 weeks out from my first marathon when I was sidetracked by a severe pain in my knee. I saw Kurt and Alex a few days later and after first putting my mind at ease, in only 3 sessions I was back to running over 10 miles and completed the marathon. They both did a wonderful job and in my last session even helped me with a hamstring strain unrelated to my endurance training. I will definitely not hesitate to go back with any soft tissue injuries in the future!

I injured my shoulder in a mountain bike crash which I ignored for about 3 months until I was just about unable to do anything with my right arm. I had a MRI done which revealed a slap tear. My ortho didn’t think physical therapy would work and wanted to proceed straight to surgery. At the recommendation of a coworker I decided to give Airrosti a shot. Best decision ever, three weeks ago I couldn’t take a coffee cup out of the cabinet without extreme pain. Two weeks and 4 sessions later I can press a 20lb kettlebell overhead. I’m blown away at how effective treatment was and have no doubt that if I keep up with my “homework” exercises I will have no need to go under the knife. Thank you, Team Edeker/Janss you are lifesavers.

by Toby Parker

I came to Airrosti with a back injury that was progressively getting worse. Within 4 visits my pain was gone and I had been shown how to properly take care of my back so the issues didn’t return.

by Tiffany Cunningham

I went to Airrosti for an injured ankle. I had 2 torn ligaments from a bad sprain. They asked detailed questions about my injury and pain in order to be able to treat me accurately. Team Edecker and Janss were very friendly, very communicative and made me feel very comfortable through the process. I was so surprised when I saw immediate results from this treatment! I only had 2 visits and I am now out biking again. It really was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone experiencing pain.

After suffering from a calf injury last year while playing tennis, I have been very careful with my workouts to ensure that does not happen again! I recently played in a tennis tournament, and noticed sharp pain in my calf muscle. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Edeker to ensure I treated my calf correctly before another injury! He and his staff helped me identify what was causing the pain, and taught me ways to take care of my muscles on a regular basis to prevent future injuries. I am feeling much better and playing a lot more tennis! Thank you, Dr. Edeker!

“I’ve been to Dr. Edeker for a couple of injuries now. He’s a great Dr. and I enjoy his treatment style. My past visit involved some issues around my rib cage and after assessing me and running me through tests he began to work through the area. What I enjoyed most was my ability to ask questions and his responsiveness. I can tell that he’s very knowledgeable and that he truly cares for the patients. While I don’t ever look forward to getting injured, I at least feel safe knowing that Dr. Edeker is there to help me get pain free.”

by Gina R.

I have to admit I was skeptical when I first arrived at Airrosti. I met with Dr. Edeker and Alex and in one session I was convinced that they could help me. They really care and want you to be pain free in 4 visits or less. I was amazed how great I felt after just one session and in 4 sessions my lower back pain was gone. It’s been a month since my last back treatment and I’m doing great! I have already recommended Airrosti to my friends to try it out… their treatment works!

Ruptured my Peroneus Brevis tendons and had surgery on both ankles in 2010. I continued to have lingering difficulties, like pain and swelling, which made it almost impossible to do anything requiring balancing on one foot. My personal trainer told me about Airrosti, and I contacted them immediately. Chose Dr. Edeker because he was about seven minutes from my home, and I am so happy and grateful that I did. I felt an immediate relief after the first session; by the third, the swelling was going down and I could see my anklebone. The other issue I was having is an eye issue caused by the locking of the eye muscles, which affects the head, jaw, neck and upper back. Dr. Edeker is extremely knowledgeable about the skeletal system, and + show morehe released activation in areas I was not aware was affected. This combined with the physical therapy portion relieved most of the pressure in my eye. I felt slightly masochist going to him, because it was not fun – but I focused on the end result that was all worth it. Dr. Edeker, Alex Janss (and a couple others) gave me some great exercises and tips to use for continued improvement. I will definitely return if the need arises.

by Monica A.

I appreciate how the providers at Airrosti take the time to thoroughly evaluate my pain and take the time to teach me how to work on not only improving my function but decreasing my pain in between visits. They are lifesavers!

by Roger K.

I am an active 38-year-old that from time to time gets an injury that sidelines me. I have seen that sideline time greatly decrease over the past four years thanks to the folks at Airrosti. At the same time I have seen my training increase. My first visit to Airrosti was about four years ago out of sheer desperation. I was at the end of training for my second marathon in three months. As marathon day drew closer, I found myself gingerly walking slower and slower in the mornings down the stairs until the pain was so great I seriously thought I should cancel my plans and try again the following year. That is when I started investigating how professional athletes can come back so quickly from injuries that sidelined me for weeks and mo+ show morenths. That is when I stumbled upon Airrosti, so I gave it a try – wow. Within three appointments over two weeks, I was as good as new running a personal record on my second marathon by almost 20 minutes.Since that time, team Edeker/Janss have not only treated my injuries successfully, but have helped me with rehab exercises tailored to prevent reoccurrence. While it is inevitable I will have future injuries, I am confident that team Edeker/Janss can use the Airrosti recovery techniques to get me back to 100 percent so much quicker than the traditional “stay off your feet and ice it.”

I choose Airrosti for this pain in my hip radiating down to the butt, thighs and lower legs. I was having a very hard time dealing with the pain and that’s when I decided to meet Dr. Edeker. His assessment itself made me so happy and I knew he could make a change. I was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome and was told to do some exercises. Alexa helped me a lot in choosing the right exercises and encouraged me to do this. Within three sessions I was doing better and I was able to know what triggered my pain. The session was very entertaining as well. We talked about so many things not even related to the pain and stuff. I can definitely say that they gave me confidence to face my problem. Airrosti is like a family to me now. Thank you Ai+ show morerrosti…Thank you Dr. Edeker and Alexa!

by Kady A.

I hurt my back doing heavy squats. I was worried I had really injured myself. Turns out it wasn’t my back but my glutes. Dr. Edeker & Alex were awesome. I felt Dr. Edeker took his time to really assess what my injury was and explain what he was doing treatment wise & why. Alex was great at giving me a wide variety of exercises and explaining how they would fit in to my regular workout routine.

by Scott W.

I am 50 years old, and as I increased my workout regimen, I experienced inflammation of my Achilles tendon at the back of my heel. Dr. Edeker and Alex were able to correct and rehabilitate the condition without requiring me to miss any workouts. In four visits they treated the tendon, taught me how to rehab it and gave me a preventative regiment so as to not re-injure it. My fitness level actually improved during my recovery. They also taught me biomechanical principles I can use to treat other areas when needed.

I had been having knee pain for years and my only recourse had been medication with a future promise of knee replacement surgery when the pain became unbearable. I could not use stairs or rise from a squat. Then a doctor recommended Airrosti as a possible source of relief. The treatments hurt, but after only a few sessions, I was pain free and I had 100 percent use of my knees. I wish I had known years ago about Airrosti and saved myself years of pain and medications. I highly recommend Dr. Edeker and the team and the miracle of Airrosti.

by Sara E.

Dr. Kurt Edeker and Alex Janss at the South Austin location have been great resources during my martial arts training. Both are friendly, upbeat, and highly knowledgeable. Dr. Edeker knocked out my SI joint sprain in three or four visits, and returned full use of my shoulder after a partial dislocation in three visits. Alex was particularly helpful in creating a progressive strengthening program that I’m still using after these injuries have resolved. Airrosti has offered me dramatically faster and more consistent results than other therapies, and it has become my first choice approach for sports injuries. Team Edeker/Janss are highly recommended.

by Gina C.

I went to Airrosti after hearing about it from my Camp Gladiator trainer. I appreciated how Dr. Edeker and Alex were able to show me ways to rehab on my own in between and after my treatment was over. While it was painful at times, in a good way, it is something I would do again. After two treatments I was able to get through my CG workouts with zero pain, and I could complete exercises that had been hurting my knee severely. If you are thinking about going to Airrosti, you should do it. It is worth every penny, and Dr. Edeker and Alex were so helpful and friendly!

by Sandy R.

I had a hip injury that was bothering me, and had previously gone to Airrosti a few years back and was thrilled with the results, so I knew to go back the moment the injury resurfaced. As expected, Dr. Edeker handled the injury beautifully and taught me a few additional stretches that are now part of my repertoire because they’re convenient and efficient! Honestly, I can’t believe it took me this long to find out about Airrosti, but they are now my go-to for lingering injuries.

Airrosti keeps me mobile and able to move my head…Now I that I have had surgery to replace a disk I need then more than ever to help me loosen up my tight neck and shoulder muscles.
