Our providers successfully diagnose and treat a wide variety of issues, including:
We rely on our shoulders for daily movement, but wear and tear on the shoulder
joints and muscles can make these daily activities painful or even impossible.
Common shoulder injuries we treat include:
The rotator cuff is a group of four muscles and tendons that stabilize the shoulder
and allow it to move smoothly. Injuries range from inflammation or partial tears to complete tendon ruptures, often caused by repetitive overhead movement, heavy
lifting, or trauma.
Symptoms:
• Dull ache or sharp pain in the shoulder, especially when lifting or rotating the arm
• Weakness in the arm
• Difficulty reaching behind the back or overhead
• Night pain that may worsen when lying on the affected side
Shoulder tendonitis (often affecting the rotator cuff or biceps tendon) occurs when
tendons become irritated or inflamed due to overuse, poor posture, or repetitive
overhead activity. It’s common in athletes and people with jobs requiring frequent
lifting or reaching.
Symptoms:
• Pain and tenderness in the front or top of the shoulder
• Pain when raising, lowering, or rotating the arm
• Stiffness and mild swelling around the joint
• Pain that worsens with repetitive motion or after activity
Whether your shoulder pain is acute or chronic, Airrosti Houston can treat your shoulder pain at the source to regain mobility and relieve discomfort. In addition to the injuries outlined above, we also frequently treat shoulder bursitis, frozen shoulder, and much more with our hands-on manual therapy. If shoulder pain is holding you back, come see Airrosti Houston, where we fix pain fast.

Upper and lower back pain can stop you in your tracks. Back pain can stem from several causes, like injuries, health conditions, and lifestyle factors, causing pain and limiting mobility. If left untreated, back pain can become a chronic condition, lasting months or even years. That’s where Airrosti Houston comes in to treat your back pain at the source and fix your pain fast! Our treatment model combines individual assessment and diagnosis with our hands-on manual therapy and active restorative aftercare to treat back pain and get you on your feet again pain-free.
The muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other soft tissue that make up your legs are especially prone to overuse or trauma-based damage. Heavy, repeated use of the legs from activities that involve running, jumping, or kicking, to sudden changes in direction or speed can all cause painful leg injuries. Airrosti often treats patients for leg injuries like:
The quadriceps muscles span the front of the thighs and are often injured because they cross both the hip and knee joints.
Symptoms:
• Pain and swelling in the thigh
• Visible inflammation or bruising
• Difficulty bending and straightening the knee
If you participate in sports that involve frequent running or kicking, such as soccer, football, and basketball, or exercise regimens that use explosive movements of the legs, you may be at greater risk of contracting a quad injury.
Groin strains happens when the adductor muscles, located in the inner thigh, are overstretched or torn, often by sudden changes of direction, sprinting, or explosive lateral movements. Groin injuries can range from mild strains to significant muscle tears, leading to pain, weakness, and difficulty with movements that involve pulling the legs inward.
Symptoms:
• Sharp or tight pain in the inner thigh or groin area
• Pain when squeezing the legs together or lifting the knee
• Reduced range of motion in the hip or inner thigh
Even people who aren’t active can struggle with leg problems due to muscles weakened by disuse. Whether it’s a calf strain, shin splits, hamstring strain, or any other condition like those explained above, Airrosti Houston can help.
Did you know that the knee is the largest joint in the human body? Comprised of various tissues, ligaments, and tendons, the knee is responsible for much of the lower body’s movement and, because of this, is highly susceptible to many injuries from repetitive stress. Airrosti Houston treats many different forms of knee pain, like jumper’s knee, knee bursitis, IT band issues, and more. Our hands-on manual therapy and active care treatment plans can help relieve knee pain and improve mobility without the need for expensive or invasive surgeries. If knee pain is slowing you down, come see any of our Houston-area Providers to fix your pain fast.
Our Houston practitioners provide high-quality care to treat orthopedic sports injuries at the source. Whether you’re suffering from jumper’s knee, golfer’s elbow, or any other sports injury, Airrosti Houston can get you back to doing what you love, pain free.
Lateral epicondylitis, commonly known as tennis elbow, is an overuse condition of the arm, forearm, and hand muscles that results in outer elbow pain. Tennis elbow is so common that as many as 50% of tennis players will develop the condition during their careers. Tennis elbow occurs most often in players between 30-60 years old and can also affect other racquet sports players.
Symptoms:
• Swelling and pain on the outside of the elbow
• Weakened grip strength
• Painful burning sensation on the outer elbow.
Young athletes are particularly vulnerable to conditions like Osgood-Schlatter disease and Sever’s disease, which affect the knees and ankles respectively. Both cases stem from repetitive stress on growth plates where tendon attaches to bone, causing swelling, pain, and tenderness that gets worse with activity.
Don’t let an injury leave your young athlete on the bench. Airrosti Houston treats common, and uncommon, sports injuries of all kinds, getting our young athletes back on the field fast with our proven conservative care treatment.
Sports injuries don’t have to become your new normal. If you’re suffering from a sports-related, or sports-adjacent, injury, come see Airrosti Houston and get back to playing fast.
When pain or injury slows you down, waiting weeks for care isn’t an option. With strong appointment availability, patients are seen quickly so treatment can begin sooner and recovery can stay on track.
